Anti-dust protection sets - allowed?

Hello everyone!

I would like to know whether Apple recommends/allows to use anti-dust protection sets for ports of MacBook Air 13?

I ask because I've recently learned Apple doesn't recommend display protection. Probably this is the case for anti-dust protection sets.

MacBook, iOS 9.3.5

I don't think Apple cares one way or another, as long as theyre just simple plugs.

Screen protectors are different, they adhere to the screens, which have protective and anti-glare coatings, that may be damaged.
